Gateway Football Group, doing business as Forest Park Rangers FC, is governed by an elected Board of Directors. Our transitionary Board was unanimously approved by voting membership to serve an initial 6-month term on 5 October 2025. A new election was held between May 1 – 3, 2026, with results announced on May 4, 2026.

President
Christine Miller is a Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Compliance professional, spending most of her career in the pet food industry. She brings the same high quality standards and systems built on integrity to the leadership of this club. Christine has lived in the St. Louis area for 18 years, and has found a home in the passionate sports community that thrives in STL. She believes that lower league soccer has a culture like no other. She’s excited to see what the fans can do when they come out of the stands and help build a club they can call their own.
Vice President
Stephen Bolen is a senior product and experience leader with over 20 years of experience driving digital transformation, product strategy, and customer-centric innovation for global enterprises. He currently serves as Director of Product Management – Technical at Mastercard, where he manages a global team and leads strategic initiatives spanning global regulatory, data strategy, and legal platforms, aligning complex business objectives with scalable, technology-driven outcomes.
Stephen has lived in St. Louis his whole life and has been a passionate fan of lower league and amateur soccer for as long as he can remember. In addition to being a co-founder of Gateway Football Group / Forest Park Rangers FC, he is also a member of Hajduk Split in Croatia’s first division.
Secretary
Michael Rakers is a former resident of the St. Louis Metro area, currently residing in Indiana. A lifelong technologist, Michael brings an outside view to the boardroom both in professional and charitable capacities. An ardent lover of the Midwest Premier League, Michael has been following Chicago House AC for the past 3 years and admired their U.S. Open Cup runs.
Treasurer
Phillip Caldwell is a St. Louis–based financial professional with a strong track record of driving accuracy, accountability, and strategic insight across real estate and financial operations. In his professional career, he has developed expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls, earning recognition for his impact and leadership within high-performing organizations. Known for his disciplined approach and collaborative mindset, Caldwell brings both technical proficiency and a commitment to continuous improvement in every role he serves.
As Treasurer of Gateway Football Group, Caldwell plays a key role in stewarding the club’s financial health as it prepares to compete in the Midwest Premier League. His professional experience positions him to ensure that financial decisions align with the clubs mission to make soccer more accessible across St. Louis, and report on the club in a transparent manner the clubs financial standing. By combining financial expertise with a passion for community impact, Caldwell contributes to building a sustainable, member-powered club that reflects the spirit of the city it represents.

Director of Sporting Operations
Tim Koppel grew up in St. Charles, Missouri and attended Francis Howell High School and Missouri Baptist Uniersity, where he played soccer for all 4 years. Upon graduation, he joined the coaching staff at Missouri Baptist University as a Graduate Assistant before becoming full-time assistant for the next 4 years. In his last year at MBU, he helped to guide the team to their 2nd ever Conference Tournament Championship and first ever National Championship appearance.
Tim soon joined the Board of Directors at the St. Louis Hawks and began coaching there. For the past 3 years, he has been Head Coach or Assistant Coach for Dueling for Lincoln FC. Tim is known for his ability to build teams, scout players, and hatch tatical game plans.
Director of Growth and Marketing
Joe Miller is a data-driven storyteller who pairs a background in genetics with a love of the game, helping Forest Park Rangers FC grow by telling the deeper story of who we are and why it matters. In his professional life as a Data Scientist, he works with complex systems and data—but at his core, he’s always been drawn to how numbers and narratives come together to reveal something bigger.
As Director of Growth and Marketing, Joe is less interested in selling products and more focused on building connection—using story, identity, and community impact to shape how the club grows. With a love of literature and writing, he brings a unique blend of science and storytelling to ensure the club’s voice feels as authentic and inclusive as the supporters who power it.
Director of Membership and Engagement
If there was one word to describe Tom Franklin’s life, it would be “Communication”.Whether it’s his previous 14 year career as a news broadcaster or his public address work over the years for places like the University of Notre Dame, Saint Louis University, University of Missouri-St. Louis, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, and many other institutions, Tom has taken pride in being a confident and steady voice for any audience he is trying to reach.
You may also know Tom as the “Soccer Zombie”, his YouTube brand name where he presents soccer matches at all levels: international, MLS, USL, and his personal favorite series: “This is Non-League Soccer in America”. Now as Forest Park Rangers FC’s Director of Membership & Engagement, he gets to take his ability to connect with audiences and directly connect with members to keep them informed and engaged in all things FPR!
Director of Partnership and PR
Matt Baker serves as Director of Partnerships and PR for Forest Park Rangers FC, where he focuses on building strategic community partnerships, strengthening the club’s public presence, and growing engagement around the community owned and supported club. Professionally, Baker is a Healthcare IT leader at Mercy, where he has worked since 2012 and developed expertise in technology, strategy and consumer experience, across large-scale healthcare operations. His background in communication, stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership provides a strong foundation for advancing the FPRFC’s mission.
Beyond his professional career, Baker is a prominent voice in the St. Louis soccer community. Since 2019, he has hosted and produced the soccer podcast Flyover Footy, covering St. Louis CITY SC and the broader soccer landscape in St. Louis. He is also a regular soccer contributor for The Big 550 KTRS and Fox 2 St. Louis, where he provides analysis and commentary on the sport in St. Louis.
Director of Match Day Operations
Taylor Zabrocki is honored to be the first Director of Match Day Operations for Forest Park Rangers FC. Born and raised just across the river in St. Charles, Taylor has been involved in soccer her entire life. She played with JB Marine and Incarnate Word Academy, and most recently suited up for the Iowa Raptors in the MASLW. On the coaching side, she’s worked with Lou Fusz Athletic and served on staff with Dueling for Lincoln FC. She studied Sports Communication at Bradley University (Go Braves!), where she played club soccer and volleyball and spent two seasons with the club hockey team.
Outside of the soccer pitch, you can find me on the sand volleyball court, training at the gym, cozied up with a good fantasy or romance book, or watching Arsenal and their beautiful corner kicks (COYG!).
